Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross
The TV series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross.
I’ve read a couple of the Alex Cross books and found them to be too terrible for my taste, although I thought they were well-written with good stories and characters
He follows in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first portrayed him in the 1997 film Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 film sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in the 2012 film Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the previously planned sequel Double Cross.
But the picture is just so dark
Somehow I’ve found the show more palatable with equally good writing and characters.
It feels like the people in charge of picture quality are at lunch
I have to turn off all the lights in my room and turn the TV to bright mode (I have an LG OLED).
If they fix this it would be great
The cinematography is great in one respect, but in terms of image clarity it is so far removed from all other shows that it just throws me off.
