    Cervical cancer remains a significant disease burden and contributes to prominent cancer-related mortality among women. This study aimed to assess awareness and knowledge of cervical cancer and attitude towards HPV vaccination among rural women in Bangladesh. A cross-sectional study was carried out from September 2019 to January 2020 involving 600 women selected using multi-stage sampling from six rural areas of Bangladesh. Face-to-face interviews were conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire consisting of socio-demographic information, knowledge (20-items) and, attitudes (5-items). Most of the participants (71.8%) were aware of cervical cancer. Women’s awareness was significantly associated with marital status, education level, employment status, and internet/social media use (p  less then  0.05). Mass media was the main source of information and 2.3% of the women had previously undergone cervical cancer screening. Knowledge regarding symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures was limited with a mean knowledge score of 8.73 (SD 2.68). Only 5.3% of women had vaccinated against HPV, but the willingness to receive the HPV vaccine was high (76.6%) among those who were not vaccinated. The cost of the HPV vaccine (40.1%) and lack of adequate knowledge (34.3%) were the main reasons behind women’s unwillingness to receive the vaccine. Higher odds of willingness to receive the HPV vaccine were found among women aged 15-29 years (aOR 1.92, CI = 1.21-3.04, p = 0.006), had high education (aOR 1.93, CI = 1.25-4.42, p = 0.005), and internet/social media users (aOR 2.32, CI 1.51-3.56, p  less then  0.001). These results highlight the urgent need for educational intervention on cervical cancer and the institution of national policies providing HPV vaccination coverage.Measurements of OJIP-SMT patterns of fluorescence induction (FI) in Synechocystis sp. CIA was induced by rats’ immunization with collagen type II (CII) in complete Freund’s adjuvant in days 0 and 7. Before the onset of CIA, prevention group received five doses of AT-MSCS intraperitoneally. After establishment of arthritis, rats received either five doses of AT-MSCs or phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) intraperitoneally or six doses of etanercept subcutaneously. Clinical and histopathological evaluation were performed in all groups; serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-10 (IL-10), and anti-collagen II were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A total percent of autoreactive T and regulatory T (Treg) cells were quantified using spleen immune histochemical analysis. AT-MSCs were able to delay the onset of CIA, suppress the ongoing clinical and histopathological signs, decrease serum levels of TNF-α and anti-collagen type II, and downregulate the autoreactive T cells as etanercept. AT-MSCs were more potent in Treg cells upregulation, producing high serum levels of IL10. AT-MSCs might have a therapeutic effect in CIA via their potency in immune cell education, representing an effective new promising approach in rheumatoid arthritis in human.

    To identify novel tumor-specific features of ossification by using multispectral imaging (MSI) in patients diagnosed with choroidal osteoma.

    Six eyes of 5 patients previously diagnosed with choroidal osteoma by ocular ultrasonography and orbital computerized tomography were observed with multispectral imaging (MSI). Traditional multimodal imaging, including color fundus photograph (CFP) and enhanced depth-imaging-optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT), fundus autofluorescence (FAF), indocyanine green angiography/fundus fluorescein angiography (ICGA/FFA), was performed. Osseous features detected by MSI such as calcification and decalcification were characterized and compared with other imaging modalities.

    In all 3 eyes with calcified choroidal osteoma (100%), MSI featured by the homogeneous reflectance in 550nm but the beehive appearance in 600-680nm and homogenous hyper-reflectance in 780-850nm’, indicating the compact bone in the outer layers and bone trabecula in the middle layer (Sandwich sign). The lated features of choroidal osteoma, providing clear evidence for differentiating osteoblastic and osteoclastic regions and noncalcifying regions. It can contribute to en-face visualization of choroidal osteomas at different stages, providing new insight into the spectrum behavior of CO.

    The giant liver fluke, Fascioloides magna, is an important parasite of white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginanus), a commercially important game species in the northeastern United States. However, the parasite has never been genetically characterized from this region and so its genetic interrelationships with other enzootic populations on the continent are unknown. The purpose of this study was to genetically characterize F. magna from the Adirondack region of northern New York (NNY) and determine its relationship with its enzootic cohorts.

    Flukes were extracted from seven livers of O. virginanus at three localities in and around the Adirondack Park in northern New York. DNA was extracted from eight individuals using standard procedures, and a 440-bp fragment of the COI gene was amplified using species-specific primers. A2ti-1 clinical trial F. magna sequences generated from a previous phylogeographic study were obtained from the GenBank database and a mtDNA dataset was compiled, aligned, and edited for molecular analyses. Analyses based on eight mtDNA sequences included haplotype network reconstruction, along with hierarchical and pairwise (Ф

    ) AMOVA tests.
