Social capital is often cited as shaping impacts of participatory arts, although the concept has not been systematically mapped in arts, health and wellbeing contexts. In wider health inequalities research, complex, differential, and sometimes negative impacts of social capital have been recognised.
This paper maps of social capital concepts in qualitative research as part of the UK What Works for Wellbeing evidence review programme on culture, sport and wellbeing.
Studies often cite positive impacts of bonding and, to a lesser extent, bridging social capital. However, reported challenges suggest the need for a critical approach. Forms of linking social capital, such as reframing and political engagement to address social divisions, are less often cited but may be important in participatory arts and wellbeing.
Future research should further specify dimensions of social capital as well as their nuanced effects in arts, and wellbeing contexts.

To report the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, treatment and outcomes of patients with ocular toxocariasis.
Retrospective review of patients diagnosed with ocular toxocariasis at a pediatric referral center from 1998 until 2018 in Costa Rica.
157 patients were diagnosed with ocular toxocariasis with a mean follow-up of 3.1years. The mean age at presentation was 6.7years old. The most common causes of consultation included decreased vision (29.9%), strabismus (26.7%), and leukocoria (19.7%). The most common findings included peripheral granuloma, posterior pole granuloma, and chronic endophthalmitis. Sixty-nine (43.9%) eyes had retinal detachment. Patients were managed with a variety of treatments including pars plana vitrectomy, systemic corticosteroids, anti-helminthic drugs or a combination of these. Most eyes did not exhibit functional improvement despite treatment.

To assess the reliability and validity of gray level co-occurrence matrices (GLCM) in the quantification of choriocapillaris and describe GLCM features in normal and eyes with resolved acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE) and serpiginous choroiditis (SC).
In this, multicenter, reliability, validity and comparative study; OCTA was performed on eyes with resolved APMPPE and SC and normal individuals. CC texture classification, low flow area measurements and GLCM feature extraction were performed.
A total of 13 normal, 8 APMPPE and 15 SC eyes were analyzed. All GLCM parameters demonstrated an excellent reliability. GLCM parameters were differently distributed across the three groups. Decision-tree based on the random forest predictive model provided an overall accuracy of 86% in classifying the three groups using GLCM features.
These data demonstrated an excellent reliability and validity of GLCM features in quantifying the choriocapillaris in healthy and diseased eyes.

) polymorphisms rs28366003 and rs1610216 with cancer risk.
Crude odd ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI) were used to estimate associations of the polymorphisms with cancer risk.
Six eligible case-control studies with 1899 cases and 2437 controls focused on rs28366003, and three of those six studies, with 548 cases and 926 controls, additionally focused on rs1610216. Pooled analysis showed that
rs28366003 and rs1610216 were associated with cancer risk (AG + GG) vs. AA, OR = 2.67; GG vs. (AG + AA), OR = 5.97; GG vs. AA, OR = 6.80; AG vs. AA, OR = 2.46; G vs. A, OR = 2.67 for rs28366003; and CC vs. (TC+TT), OR = 2.51; CC vs. TT, OR = 2.42 for rs1610216. Subgroup analysis based on ethnicity showed a significant association of rs28366003 with cancer risk in Asian and Caucasian populations. However, a significant association of rs1610216 with cancer risk was found only in the Asian population.
