Six articles covering five treatment studies were included. Studies yielded mixed findings likely due to large variability in methodology, including lack of standardized dosing paradigms, modes of use, and duration of trial.
The current quality and level of evidence is insufficient to draw reliable conclusions of the efficacy of cannabis upon SCI-related pain itensity. We identify specific limitations of past studies and present guidelines for future research.

This study aims to examine the association between depression and workaholism among university students.
Participants were 182 undergraduates at a large university in the South of Poland, aged between 20-28 years old (
= 22.17,
= 1.39), including 102 women (56%). The cross-sectional study used the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Work Addiction Risk Test (WART).
This study shows that depression and workaholism levels are significantly lower in Physical Education students than other faculties’ students. Gender moderates the relationship between workaholism and depression. Women demonstrate a stronger association between depression and workaholism than men.
Both physical activity and gender appear to play an essential role in mental health prevention. The result of this study should be considered in therapy and prevention programs at university campuses.

Methods Four research teams from Doctoral Physical Education Teacher Education programs (D-PETE) conducted these systematic reviews using the PRISMA guidelines process. Results This article explains the role of the national framework for increasing physical education and physical activity (i.e., Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program) in supporting the essential components of physical education. It also highlights the expectations for physical education and provides a brief history of these components. Lastly, this article highlights each of the articles presented in the special feature. Conclusion Understanding the implementation of these components may be important for improving the physical education experience for all students and creating a foundation for lifelong physical activity and health.Rationale Recent studies showed that biological subphenotypes in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) provide prognostic enrichment and show potential for predictive enrichment. Objectives To determine whether these subphenotypes and their prognostic and potential for predictive enrichment could be extended to other patients in the ICU, irrespective of fulfilling the definition of ARDS. Methods This is a secondary analysis of a prospective observational study of adult patients admitted to the ICU. We tested the prognostic enrichment of both cluster-derived and latent-class analysis (LCA)-derived biological ARDS subphenotypes by evaluating the association with clinical outcome (ICU-day, 30-day mortality, and ventilator-free days) using logistic regression and Cox regression analysis. We performed a principal component analysis to compare blood leukocyte gene expression profiles between subphenotypes and the presence of ARDS. Measurements and Main Results We included 2,499 mechanically ventilated patients (674 with and 1,825 without ARDS). DOTAPchloride The cluster-derived “reactive” subphenotype was, independently of ARDS, significantly associated with a higher probability of ICU mortality, higher 30-day mortality, and a lower probability of successful extubation while alive compared with the “uninflamed” subphenotype. The blood leukocyte gene expression profiles of individual subphenotypes were similar for patients with and without ARDS. LCA-derived subphenotypes also showed similar profiles. Conclusions The prognostic and potential for predictive enrichment of biological ARDS subphenotypes may be extended to mechanically ventilated critically ill patients without ARDS. Using the concept of biological subphenotypes for splitting cohorts of critically ill patients could add to improving future precision-based trial strategies and lead to identifying treatable traits for all critically ill patients. We introduce here a new mouse cursor designed to facilitate the use of the mouse by people with peripheral vision loss. The pointer consists of a collection of converging straight lines covering the whole screen and following the position of the mouse cursor. We measured its positive effects in a group of participants with peripheral vision loss of different kinds and found that it can reduce by a factor of seven the time required to complete a targeting task using the mouse. Using eye tracking, we show that this system makes it possible to initiate the movement toward the target without having to precisely locate the mouse pointer. Using Fitts’ Law, we compare these performances with those of full visual field users in order to understand the relation between the accuracy of the estimated mouse cursor position and the index of performance obtained with our tool.
