Therefore, the proposed improved strategies (I) have good performance in tracking precision, (II) are simple and easily conducted, and (III) can ensure the accomplishing of computational tasks in real-time. Finally, to verify the effectiveness of the improved model predictive controller, the Matlab/simulink simulation and hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) are adopted for automatic train operation tracking control, and the tracking control simulation results indicate that the improved model predictive controller has better tracking control effectiveness compared with the existing traditional improved model predictive controller.Genotoxicity screening tests aim to evaluate if and to what extent a compound in contact with the human body (e.g., a drug molecule, a compound from the environment) interacts with DNA. The comet assay is a sensitive method used to predict the risk of DNA damage in individual cells, as it quantifies the tape breaks, being the alkaline version (pH > 13) the most commonly used in the laboratory. Epithelial cells serve as biomatrices in genotoxicity assessments. click here As ca. 80% of solid cancers are of epithelial origin, the quantification of the DNA damage upon exposure of epithelial cells to a drug or drug formulation becomes relevant. Comet assays run in epithelial cells also have clinical applications in human biomonitoring, which assesses whether and to what extent is the human body exposed to environmental genotoxic compounds and how such exposure changes over time. Ocular mucosa is particularly exposed to environmental assaults. This review summarizes the published data on the genotoxicity assessment in estimating DNA damage in epithelial cells with a special focus on ocular cell lines. General comet assay procedures for ex vivo and in vivo epithelium samples are also described.Titanium alloy wire is characterized by high specific strength, good corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance and other excellent comprehensive performance. It has been widely used not only in aerospace, shipbuilding and other high-tech fields, but also increasingly in medical equipment, food safety and other fields. Because titanium alloy wire is relatively difficult to process, it has a large deformation resistance, good elasticity, high flexion ratio and more serious rebound. During the processing, adhesion problems may occur, thus reducing the surface quality. The magnetic abrasive finishing (MAF) has good flexible machining characteristics. In this study, the rotating magnetic field was loaded on the titanium alloy wire, and the magnetic abrasive was absorbed by the magnetic field force to form a magnetic abrasive brush, so as to realize the precision processing of the titanium alloy wire. Under the same processing time, when the angle of the magnetic head was 37°, the surface roughness of titanium alloy wire was reduced to 0.28 μm by MAF, which improved the processing quality and efficiency of the titanium alloy wire.Reducing consumption of free sugars, such as those found in high concentrations in manufactured products such as sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) and 100% fruit juices, is a global public health priority. This study aimed to measure prevalence of widely available pre-packaged non-alcoholic water-based beverages (carbonated sodas, sports drinks, energy drinks, artificially-sweetened sodas, fruit juices (any type), and bottled water) and to comprehensively examine behavioral, environmental, current health, and demographic correlates of consumption. A cross-sectional, nationally-representative population survey of 3430 Australian adults (18+ years) was conducted using computer-assisted telephone (mobile and landline) interviewing. Past week prevalence of pre-packaged drinks containing free sugar was 47.3%; daily prevalence was 13.6%. Of all the pre-packaged drinks assessed, consumption of fruit juices (any type) was the most prevalent (38.8%), followed by bottled water (37.4%), soda (28.9%), artificially-sweetened soda (18.1%), sports drinks (8.1%), and energy drinks (4.2%). Higher soda consumption was associated with males, younger age, socio-economic disadvantage, frequent takeaway food consumption, availability of soda in the home, obesity, and a diagnosis of heart disease or depression. A diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes was associated with increased likelihood of consuming artificially-sweetened sodas and decreased likelihood of consuming sugar-sweetened soda. SSB consumption is prevalent in Australia, especially among young adults and males, foreshadowing continued population weight gain and high burdens of chronic disease. To reduce consumption, Australia must take a comprehensive approach, incorporating policy reform, effective community education, and active promotion of water.Herein, eyeless Pseudosinella species from Brazilian caves are reviewed, including the description of 23 new species, new records plus additional notes on the descriptions of P. ambigua Zeppelini, Brito, and Lima and of P. guanhaensis Zeppelini, Brito, and Lima. We also provide an identification key to 27 eyeless species recorded from Brazil. To organize the 26 Brazilian eyeless taxa analyzed in this work, we organize them in apparently artificial groups 11 species have one larger tooth on the unguiculus outer lamella (petterseni group); one presents unguiculus outer lamella smooth or serrated (never with a larger tooth), with 9 held prelabral chaetae undivided and the last 6 held prelabral chaetae bifurcated. The Brazilian species of eyeless Pseudosinella herein described present a remarkably conservate dorsal chaetotaxy; therefore, the main diagnostic characters are related to other features like prelabral, labral, and ventral head chaetotaxy and empodial complex morphology. In addition, our study suggests that Brazilian caves possibly shelter a great diversity of Pseudosinella taxa, several of them potentially cave dependent. The phytoremediation of soil contaminated with petroleum oil products relies on co-operation between plants and rhizosphere bacteria, including the plant growth-promoting effect of the bacteria. We studied the capacity of strains of Pseudomonas, selected as oil degraders, to produce plant hormones and promote plant growth. Strains with intermediate auxin production were the most effective in stimulating the seedling growth of seven plant species under normal conditions. Bacterial seed treatment resulted in about a 1.6-fold increase in the weight of barley seedlings, with the increment being much lower in other plant species. The strains P. plecoglossicida 2.4-D and P. hunanensis IB C7, characterized by highly efficient oil degradation (about 70%) and stable intermediate in vitro auxin production in the presence of oil, were selected for further study with barley. These strains increased the seed germination percentage approximately two-fold under 5% oil concentration in the soil, while a positive effect on further seedling growth was significant when the oil concentration was raised to 8%.
