53, 95% CI 1.26-5.07, p = 0.009), disease severity (HR = 3.54, 95% CI 1.52-8.26, p = 0.003), and noninvasive ventilatory support (HR 0.59, 95% CI 0.25-0.99, p = 0.049) had significant effect on mortality.
The adjusted mortality risk of COVID-19 in MHD patients is high in patients associated with severe COVID-19 and patients having CVC as vascular access.

We present a 13-year-old boy with gingival hyperpigmentation along with facial and ear angiofibromas in the context of a BRRS-concordant phenotype and PTEN hamartoma tumor syndrome genotype. To our knowledge, these two findings have not been previously reported with BRRS and may expand the known phenotype of this disorder.Conducting polymers with good electron conductivity and rich redox functional groups are promising cathode candidates for constructing high-energy aqueous zinc batteries. However, the glaring flaw of active-site underutilization impairs their electrochemical performance. Herein, we report a poriferous polytriphenylamine conjugated microporous polymer (CMP) cathode capable of accommodating Cl- anions in a pseudocapative-dominated manner for energy storage. Its specific 3D, covalent-organic-framework-like conjugated network ensures high accessibility efficacy of N active sites (up to 83.2% at 0.5 A g-1 ) and distinct physicochemical stability (87.6% capacity retention after 1000 cycles) during repeated charging/discharging courses. Such a robust CMP electrode also leads to a zinc dual-ion battery device with a high energy density of 236 W h kg-1 and a maximum power density of 6.8 kW kg-1 , substantially surpassing most recently reported organic-based zinc batteries. This study paves the way for the rational design of advanced CMP-based organic cathodes for high-energy devices.
The interest in intra-cardiac blood flow analysis is rapidly growing, and it has encouraged the development of different non-invasive imaging techniques. Among these, Vector Flow Mapping (VFM), combing Color-Doppler imaging and speckle tracking data, seems to be a promising approach, feasible in adult and children population.
The aim of this review is to give a historical perspective on the development of VFM method and a summary of the current algorithms and parameters potentially evaluable. Then, we will present the current state-of-the-art of VFM with an overview of clinical studies and applications of this technique.

Thus, topical use of cannabinoids may have a role in local fibrotic and wound healing diseases such as scars or keloids. We investigate the effect of the CB2 selective receptor agonist (6aR,10aR)-3-(1,1-Dimethylbutyl)-6a,7,10,10a-tetrahydro-6,6,9-trimethyl-6H-dibenzo[b,d]pyran (JWH133) and the CB2 selective receptor antagonist (6-Iodo-2-methyl-1-[2-(4-morpholinyl)ethyl]-1H-indol-3-yl)(4-methoxyphenyl)-methanone (AM630), on primary cultures of human fibroblasts. Primary cultures of adult human fibroblasts were obtained from abdominal human skin samples. Fibroblasts pretreated with JWH133 and/or AM630 were stimulated with TGF-β (10 ng/ml). Vorinostat in vivo Fibroblast activation into myofibroblasts was quantified by the expression of alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) using Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot assays. Collagen content was quantified with the Sirius red staining assay. Upon human fibroblasts stimulation with TGF-β, a significant increase on α-SMA and CB2 receptor expression was observed. In these cells, JWH133 decreased α-SMA expression and collagen content. However, this effect was not observed in resting human fibroblasts. AM630 decreased α-SMA expression and collagen content in both resting and activated fibroblasts. This effect was time- and concentration-dependent with an IC50 value of 11 μM. The CB2 receptor appears to be involved in fibroblast repair during skin wound healing in humans, as TGF-β increases CB2 receptor expression and JWH133 produces an anti-fibrotic effect in human fibroblasts. AM630 also showed an anti-fibrotic effect hypothesizing that other cannabinoid receptors, such as TRPV, may be involved in this response.Fabricating new and efficient materials aimed at containment of water contamination, in particular removing toxic heavy metal based oxo-anions (e. g. CrO4 2- , TcO4 – ) holds paramount importance. In this work, we report two new highly stable imidazolium based ionic porous organic polymers (iPOPs) decorated with multiple interaction sites along with electrostatics driven adsorptive removal of such oxo-anions from water. Both the iPOPs (namely, iPOP-3 and iPOP-4) exhibited rapid sieving kinetics and very high saturation uptake capacity for CrO4 2- anions (170 and 141 mg g-1 for iPOP-3 and iPOP-4 respectively) and ReO4 – (515.5 and 350.3 mg g-1 for iPOP-3 and iPOP-4 respectively), where ReO4 – anions being the non-radioactive surrogative counterpart of radioactive TcO4 – ions. Noticeably, both iPOPs showed exceptional selectivity towards CrO4 2- and ReO4 – even in presence of several other concurrent anions such as Br- , Cl- , SO4 2- , NO3 – etc. The theoretical binding energy calculations via DFT method further confirmed the preferential interaction sites as well as binding energies of both iPOPs towards CrO4 2- and ReO4 – over all other competing anions which corroborates with the experimental high capacity and selectivity of iPOPs toward such oxo-anions.
