Study of the role of the phenotypic composition of lymphocytes, shifts in which can cause the development of various pathological processes, including sensorineural hearing loss, is an important area of modern research. It is also appropriate for amplification outcomes measurements. PEACH scale includes 13 questions. Parents fill the questionnaire after week observation of child’s hearing behavior in different situations. The goal of the study was validation of Russian version of PEACH scale. Translation and cross-cultural adaptation were performed following international guidelines. 50 children with normal hearing and 50 hearing impaired children were involved in the validation process. All of the hearing-impaired children used hearing aids or cochlear implants. PEACH scores of the children with normal hearing have strong correlation with data of original version (ρ=0.998; p less then 0.05) and can be used as a normative data for Russian version. PEACH scores of the hearing-impaired children were worse in higher degrees of hearing loss, which shows sensitivity of the method. Test-retest reliability in children with normal hearing was ρ=1.0 (p less then 0.05), in hearing impaired children ρ=0.976 (p less then 0.05). To evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the web application “Automated system of primary hearing assessment” created by us for the diagnosis of hearing impairment in different age groups.
With the help of this web application, 712 patients were examined in 3 age groups group 1 – patients aged 18 to 44 years, 196 people (average age 25.6±2.7 years), group 2 – patients aged 45 to 59 years, 265 people (mean age 46.3±3.6 years), 3rd group – patients 60 years old and older, 251 people (mean age 75.4±1.1 years).
It was revealed that 61.8% of patients had risk factors for the development of hearing loss. In the 1st age group, one risk factor for hearing loss prevailed, in the 2nd and 3rd groups, up to 5-9 factors were simultaneously combined. Clinically significant hearing loss was found in 24.3% of patients. Hearing studies at frequencies of 10 and 12 kHz revealed latent hearing loss in 31.3% of patients, 57% of them had risk factors for the development of hearing loss. Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a widespread neurodevelopmental disorder that begins in childhood and has negative consequences throughout adult life. The etiology and pathogenesis of ADHD are still unclear. Tau protein is a soluble microtubule-related protein expressed by neurons and localized in the cytoplasm as well as axons. Tau protein provides stability of microtubule in two ways Phosphorylation and isoforms. The excessive phosphorylation of Tau separates the protein from the microtubule, thus making it unstable. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether there is a relationship between serum Tau protein and phospho Tau (p-Tau181) levels and ADHD occurrence.
This study included 26 male children aged 7?12 years with newly diagnosed ADHD, who had previously not used any medication for ADHD, and 26 male healthy children. Serum Tau and p-Tau181 concentrations were performed by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA).
In patients, the Tau levels were not significantly different from the controls, the p-Tau181 levels were significantly higher than controls.

COVID-19 has now become a global pandemic. Understanding the routes of transmission is vital in the mitigation and suppression of the disease. Istanbul has become one of the disease’s epicenters. This study aims to describe the first COVID-19 case and contact tracing efforts around it in Istanbul.
The descriptive study was conducted in Istanbul, Turkey. First and associated COVID-19 cases were investigated with contact tracing and described primary and secondary cases.
The source case was an individual who returned to Turkey from international travel at the beginning of March and tested PCR (-). The index case is the brother of the source case and is considered the first PCR (+) case diagnosed in Istanbul. this website Contact tracing revealed 23 PCR (+) cases, 14 of which resulted in hospitalization and three deaths.
