The results demonstrate an excellent performance of the Nb2C as a saturable absorber, offering opportunities to further explore MXenes for future photonics devices.Tenualosa ilisha is a popular anadromous and significant trans-boundary fish. For sustainable management and conservation of this fish, drawing an appropriate picture reflecting population status of this species is very essential based on their all-strategic habitats in Bangladesh. In this study, 139 samples from 18 sites were collected and cross-species gene enrichment method was applied. Like most of the Clupeiforms, nucleotide diversity of this shad was very low (0.001245-0.006612). Population differences between most of the locations were low and not significant (P > 0.05). However, P values of a few locations were significant (P  less then  0.05) but their pairwise FST values were very poor (0.0042-0.0993), which is inadequate to recognize any local populations. BAY-61-3606 datasheet Our study revealed that the presence of a single population in the Bangladesh waters with some admixtured individuals, which may contain partial genes from other populations. Most of the individuals were admixed without showing any precise grouping in the ML IQtree and Network, which might due to their highly migratory nature. Fishes from haors and small coastal rivers were not unique and no genetic differences between migratory cohorts. The hilsa shad fishery should be managed considering it as a single panmictic population in Bangladesh with low genetic diversity.Recently, in food safety and various other fields, qualitative and quantitative gene analysis using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method has become increasingly popular. The limit of detection (LOD) and quantifiable range for these measurements depends on the range and precision of DNA calibrators’ concentrations. Low-copy-number nucleic acid reference materials with low uncertainty produced by an inkjet system have been developed to allow for precise measurements in a low-copy-number region. However, when using a calibrator with a low copy number near one, the copy number distribution is asymmetric. Consequently, the confidence intervals of estimated copy numbers can include negative values when conventional methods of uncertainty estimation are used. A negative confidence interval is irrelevant in the context of copy number, which is always positive value or zero. Here, we propose a method to evaluate the uncertainty of real-time PCR measurements with representative values and an asymmetric 95% confidence interval. Moreover, we use the proposed method for the actual calculation of uncertainty of real-time PCR measurement results for low-copy-number DNA samples and demonstrate that the proposed method can evaluate the precision of real-time PCR measurements more appropriately in a low-copy-number region. The behavior of an Oldroyd-B nanoliquid film sprayed on a stretching cylinder is investigated. The system also contains gyrotactic microorganisms with heat and mass transfer flow. Similarity transformations are used to make the governing equations non-dimensional ordinary differential equations and subsequently are solved through an efficient and powerful analytic technique namely homotopy analysis method (HAM). The roles of all dimensionless profiles and spray rate have been investigated. Velocity decreases with the magnetic field strength and Oldroyd-B nanofluid parameter. Temperature is increased with increasing the Brownian motion parameter while it is decreased with the increasing values of Prandtl and Reynolds numbers. Nanoparticle’s concentration is enhanced with the higher values of Reynolds number and activation energy parameter. Gyrotactic microorganism density increases with bioconvection Rayleigh number while it decreases with Peclet number. The film size naturally increases with the spray rate in a nonlinear way. A close agreement is achieved by comparing the present results with the published results. There is a large controversy as to whether nitrous oxide (N2O) added to the anaesthetic gas mixture is harmful or harmless for postoperative cognitive function recovery. We performed a nested study in the ENIGMA-II trial and compared postoperative neurocognitive recovery of patients randomly receiving N2O (70%) or Air (70%) in 30% O2 during anesthesia. We included adults having non cardiac surgery. We compared recovery scores for episodic memory, decision making/processing speed and executive functions measured with the computerised Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB). Assessments were performed at baseline, seven and ninety days. At first interim analysis, following recruitment of 140 participants, the trial was suspended. We found that the mean (95%CI) changes of scores for episodic memory were in the Pocock futility boundaries. Decision making/processing speed did not differ either between groups (P > 0.182). But for executive functions at seven days, the mean number (95% CI) of problems successfully solved and the number of correct box choices made was higher in the N2O group, P = 0.029. N2O with the limitations of an interim analysis appears to have no harmful effect on cognitive functions (memory/processing speed). It may improve the early recovery process of executive functions. This preliminary finding warrants further investigations.Improved heat transfer efficiency with considering economic analysis in heating systems is an interesting topic for researchers and scientists in recent years. This research investigates the heat transfer rate (HTR) and flow of non-Newtonian water-Carboxyl methyl cellulose (CMC) based Al2O3 nanofluid in a helical heat exchanger equipped with common and novel turbulators using two-phase model. The requirements for dimensions and cost reduction and also energy saving in thermal systems are the main goal of this study. According to gained results usage of corrugated channel in helical heat exchanger has a considerable influence on thermal and hydraulic performance evaluation criteria (THPEC) index of helical heat exchanger and can improve the THPEC index. Thus, Re = 5000 is obtained as an optimum value, in which the maximum THPEC value is achieved. As it is found in this paper, in case of using novel heat exchanger instead of the basic smooth system, the thermal properties (by considering Nusselt number) increases about 210%, the hydraulic performance (friction factor) reduces about 28%, performance evaluation criteria index increases about 57% and the material consumption (in case of similar THPEC) decreases about 31%.
