    Phylogenetic analysis based on the VEGF gene has shown two clusters of ORFV in which the Indian ORFVs clustered with NZ7-like VEGF from global ORFV strains, mostly from China. Despite the considerable variation, VEGF protein from Indian ORFV strains showed conserved VEGF homology domain with eight cysteine residues. Homology modeling of Indian ORFV strains predicted the presence of extended Loop 3 similar to NZ7-like VEGF. Therefore, the present study showed the circulation of ORFV strains with comparatively less variable NZ7-like VEGF in India which implicates its importance in the epidemiology of ORFV infections in the country. V.Surfactant solutions have been frequently studied for soil remediation. However, since they are expensive, massive consumption of surfactant solution can constrain their application. Surfactant microbubbles, or colloidal gas aphrons (CGAs), can serve as cost effective alternatives of surfactant solution because the use of CGAs reduce the amount of surfactant consumption. Moreover, CGAs can also improve the contact with the contaminated environment due to their unique surface properties, e.g. containing 40-70% of gas, small size, large interfacial areas, water-like flow properties and buoyant rise velocities. In this review paper, the properties and flow character of CGAs in soil matrix reviewed due to their relevance to soil remediation process. A comprehensive overview of the application of CGAs in flushing off organic pollutants and heavy metals, and carrying oxygen, bacteria and dissolved materials for soil remediation were provided. This paper also highlighted the limitation of CGAs application and important future research scopes. BACKGROUND Screening for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) in migrants is important for elimination of tuberculosis in low-incidence countries, alongside the need to detect blood-borne infections to align with new guidelines on migrant screening for multiple infections in European countries. However, feasibility needs to be better understood. METHODS We did a feasibility study to test an innovative screening model offering combined testing for LTBI (QuantiFERON), HIV, hepatitis B/C in a UK emergency department, with two year follow-up. RESULTS 96 economic migrants, asylum seekers and refugees from 43 countries were screened (46 [47.9%] women; mean age 35.2 years [SD 11.7; range 18-73]; mean time in the UK 4.8 years [SD 3.2; range 0-10]). 14 migrants (14.6%) tested positive for LTBI alongside HIV [1], hepatitis B [2], and hepatitis C [1] Of migrants with LTBI, 5 (35.7%) were successfully engaged in treatment. 74 (77.1%) migrants reported no previous screening since migrating to the UK. CONCLUSION Multi-disease screening in this setting is feasible and merits being further tested in larger-scale studies. However, greater emphasis must be placed on ensuring successful treatment outcomes. We identified major gaps in current screening provision; most migrants had been offered no prior screening despite several years since migration, which holds relevance to policy and practice in the UK and other European countries. The aim of this study was to investigate the subjective, clinical and radiographic outcomes with a special focus on complications in nine patients with a mean follow-up of 6 years and to compare them with our previously published 3-year follow-up results. No subjective or objective changes were seen between the 3-year and the 6-year follow-up. The aim of our study was to present a new endoscopic technique for superficial fasciotomy using the Agee® system and to describe the results. This was a single-center, retrospective descriptive study of 21 patients (36 forearms) operated on between 2006 and 2016. All patients but one were competitive motorcycle racers. The mean operating time was 38.2min (standard deviation (SD), 10.5min). The QuickDASH score was 23.3±10.2% preoperatively versus 1±2% postoperatively (mean±SD). Among the 18 patients who came back for a follow-up visit after 4.9±2.7 years, 17 (94%) were satisfied or very satisfied. The mean time before returning to sport was 4.3 weeks (SD, 1.8 weeks), 9 patients (50%) at the same level as before surgery, 8 (44%) at a higher level, and one at a lower level. There were a few minor complications (superficial vascular lesions, hematoma, transitory hypoesthesia) and symptoms recurred in two patients. Our technique yields outcomes similar to those of other published endoscopic procedures and allows early return to sport. It has the advantage of being based on the Agee endoscope, which is commonly used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, making the procedure easy to master. Neutralizing antibodies against Immuno-moodulin reverted the behavioral phenotype of Annexin-A1 transgenic mice and lowered the basal levels of anxiety in wild type mice; moreover, we also found that patients suffering from obsessive compulsive disorders show high levels of Imood in their peripheral mononuclear cells. We thus identify this protein as a novel peripheral determinant that modulates anxiety behavior.
