    This study assessed in situ stabilization combined with phytoexclusion in practical application on agricultural land contaminated strongly, and spatially heterogeneous, with metals (Cd, Pb, and Zn) and As. Single and combined lime marl and phosphate treatments were consecutively planted with two cultivars each of rape, wheat, and barley differing in trace elements (TE) accumulation. The effects on soil acidity, NH4NO3-soluble, and straw and grain TE concentrations were evaluated. The combined fertilizer treatment most effectively reduced metals mobility, but neither amendment mitigated plant TE status, which correlated more with pseudo-total than NH4NO3-soluble TE in soil. The cultivar choice reduced grain Cd by 39 or 21% in barley or wheat, respectively, simultaneously decreased grain Zn, but conversely affected As uptake in wheat grains. The lack of correlations between grain TE concentrations suggests the potential for breeding cultivars with low Cd and As accumulation without causing Zn malnutrition. The cereals had relatively low yields, particularly on highly polluted areas, and only rape and barley grains unexceptionally suited for animal consumption. Agricultural measures and climatic conditions influenced TE mobility. METHODS The PRevention Of Migraine via Intravenous ALD403 Safety and Efficacy-1 (PROMISE-1) study was a phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study. Adults with episodic migraine were randomized to eptinezumab 30 mg, 100 mg, 300 mg, or placebo for up to four intravenous (IV) doses administered every 12 weeks. The primary endpoint was change from baseline in monthly migraine days (MMDs) over weeks 1-12. RESULTS A total of 888 patients received treatment across 84 study sites. Mean MMDs at baseline was ∼8.6 across treatment groups. Eptinezumab 100 mg and 300 mg met the primary endpoint, significantly reducing MMDs across weeks 1-12 compared with placebo (30 mg, -4.0; 100 mg, -3.9, p = 0.0182; 300 mg, -4.3; placebo, -3.2, p = 0.0001). Treatment-emergent adverse events were reported by 58.4% (30 mg), 63.2% (100 mg), 57.6% (300 mg), and 59.5% (placebo) of patients. Treatment-emergent adverse events reported by ≥2% of eptinezumab-treated patients at an incidence greater than placebo included upper respiratory tract infection (30 mg, 11.4%; 100 mg, 9.9%; 300 mg, 10.3%; placebo, 7.2%), and fatigue (30 mg, 2.3%; 100 mg, 3.6%; 300 mg, 3.6%; placebo, less then 1%). We sought to establish the authorship, content, and accuracy of the information available online regarding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for knee osteoarthritis. DESIGN Top 200 search results from each of the 3 leading search engines available online (Google, Yahoo!, Bing) were screened, and 181 websites were finally reviewed for content with emphasis on specific claims, comparing between websites authored by private physicians/groups and other authorship types. RESULTS Nearly 80% of the websites claimed that PRP injections for osteoarthritis of the knee improve patients’ pain. A total of 42.8% of the private websites and 27.6% of nonprivate websites have stated that the procedure can delay or eliminate the need for future surgery. Costs were only mentioned by few (11.6%), and mainly by the nonprivate websites.
