Lift Accident: A man has died after after being caught beneath a raise cage on a property in Dural overnight.

Around 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday 16/11/2023), emergency companies have been called to a property on Winnanga Rd, DURAL.

Officers connected to The Hills Police Area Command attended and were advised a commerical lift cage that was intended to be used for removing branches from some trees on the property was being loaded onto a Utility.

It is known a 72yo man became trapped underneath the carry being operated by relative, suffering deadly injuries.

Man Has Died in Dural Lift Accident was forensically examined by specialist police, with @SafeworkNSW additionally inattendance. A report shall be ready for the knowledge of the Coroner.
