Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after uncovering a murder in the heart of the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first leading role on television. I enjoyed the beginning of the series, but I think the ending fell a little flat for me. The show tried to wrap up the storylines in a more positive way, but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. It felt like a chore to watch episodes 6 and 7. I appreciated the message, especially in this extremely polarizing climate. I would like a 2nd season if they can improve the writing/plot, but if this is truly just a limited series then I think they missed the mark and that’s why I gave it a 7. It made me want more, but I’m not sure if it’s because this season deserves another season or because I feel bad for them and want to give them a second chance.
